DelhiThis Pandal In CR Park Is Making An Eco-Friendly Idol To Celebrate Green Durga Puja
There has been a rise in the environmental consciousness of the people of late and this pujo pandal in CR Park has taken a step towards celebrating an eco-friendly Durga Pujo with this amazing act. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
Hail The Goddess | The Cooperative Ground Durga Puja Samity (CGDPS) in CR Park has decided to go green this year. They’re making the protima (idol) eco-friendly as they had done previously to save the river Yamuna! Plus, the committee also has dug up their own pond this year in which the idol will be immersed.
CR Park, celebrated as mini-Kolkata of Delhi, is known to host a number of worshippers every year during this period. The theme this time commemorates the birth centenary of musical legends Manna Dey and Hemanta Mukherjee. The pandal is being designed in such a way that the mandap, entrance and stage capture the golden era! Furthermore, music reality TV shows participants Ankita Bhattacharya & Amit Paul have also been lined up to perform here this time.
Sounds like we’ll get a generous dose of beauty and green here, no wonder we can’t wait to check it out for ourselves!
