This Makeshift Facility At Delhi's Pusa Road Has 20 Vaccination Sites & Will Allow 10K Jabs A Day

As the world’s largest vaccination drive moves to its next phase and the youth of the nation hurries to register and get vaccinated, the infrastructure & the limited supply of vaccines struggles to keep up. This private hospital in Delhi's Pusa Road has created a makeshift vaccination facility to smoothen the process. Read on for the deets.

Have A Piece Of Good News | A temporary vaccination facility has been set up by BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital at the Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) campus in Pusa Road, in JUST 48 hours! The makeshift facility currently has 20 vaccination sites, while 30 will be added later; these will allow the hospital to administer 10,000 jabs a day according to the officials. 
Over 3,000 jabs of Covishield, at Rs 900 a dose were administered at the centre on Tuesday. 
Spread out over a large area, the makeshift facility ensures social distancing & following of other COVID-19 norms & precautionary measures.

COVID-19 vaccination for all 18 years and older is available at Max Hospitals, which procured these doses directly from the Serum Institute of India (SII). 

The slots are booked till the 15th of May, but do keep an eye on the website as more slots will be opening soon. Till then, stay indoors, practice COVID appropriate behaviour and stay safe.
