A Mughal Marvel | Constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the Red Fort houses the lesser-known albeit amazing Hayat Bakhsh Bagh. The garden is similar to other Mughal gardens and the design of Hayat Bakhsh Bagh comprises dome-less towers and channels to diffuse water that make it a picturesque monument. It was laid out by Shah Jahan and although the garden was destroyed by the British subsequently, it was later restored to its original glory.
This beautiful garden is ideal for picnics with your besties or fam or just to bask in the winter sunshine. There are flowers sporting blue, white and purple hues planted throughout, which make for great backdrops for group selfies!
