Delhi is no stranger to pollution and with more and more trees being uprooted, it’s time to take care of the city’s lungs. Read on to know what cool new initiative has been taken to tackle this problem!
An Initiative To Save The City’s Lungs | To stop further encroachment in the Delhi Ridge, the Ridge Management Board has approved the decision to appoint approximately 150 guards who’ll be patrolling the worst affected areas. Also, 6 portacabins, 31 bikes and cars will be added to the fleet. Earlier, there were only three rangers, 15 deputy range officers and 77 guards for the entire city of Delhi. This move will help in stopping the rampant encroachment that has been taking place over the last two decades. We’re applauding this move ‘cause it’ll help in saving the city’s lungs!
