110-Year-Old Architectural Marvel | Nestled in Vrindavan, Jaipur Temple was built back in the year 1917 by emperor Sawai Madhao Singh. This grand temple took 30 years to complete construction and the Maharaja himself took care of the construction and layout through the years. This stunning temple has a beautifully carved sandstone structure, elaborate rock pillars with marble finishing and intricate designs on walls that exemplifies old Indian architectural skill and grace. A Blend of Rajasthani Grandeur in UP 

This magnificent Krishna temple, reminiscent of the grand forts of Rajasthan, stands proudly in Uttar Pradesh. Built by Raja Madho Singh Rao of Jaipur, its construction spanned 12-14 years and beautifully incorporates elements of Rajasthani architecture, such as the ornate Jharokhas and Chhatris.

A Little History Session

Originally, this temple was dedicated to Krishna’s divine consort, Radha Rani. The Maharaja, a devoted follower of Radha Krishna, envisioned placing the deities from Barsana Radha Rani Mandir (Shriji Mandir) in this newly built sanctuary. He even constructed small rooms around the deity altar for his family members and ministers. However, folklore tells us that on the night before the deity installation, Radha Rani appeared in the king’s dream, expressing her wish to remain in Barsana, which she considered her true home. Respecting her wishes, the king decided against moving the deities and instead placed another set of deities in the Kushal Bihari temple.
