This Hi-Tech Train Will Bring Delhi-Katra Closer By 4 Hours Before The Festive Season!

Did you know that the much-talked-about train, Vande Bharat Express will soon start operations on the Delhi-Katra route? This route has high-traffic and a super-fast train would come as a relief for passengers travelling to the Holy Shrine. 

Bridging Gaps | So, the buzz is that the second Vande Bharat Express will soon start running between Delhi and Katra before the festive season commences. The trains running on this route will have improvisations like pantry space and comfier seats, which will weigh less and consume lesser energy. Plus, these will also be fit for sleeper coaches. The new trains will reduce the travel time between the two cities from the current 12 hours to 8 hours.

This route was chosen by the Indian Railways so that they could capitalise on the high traffic on this as people travel to Vaishno Devi Temple in large numbers! Plus, 40 such trains with sleeper class versions will be ready by 2022.

Looks like Delhi-Katra journey is about to get a whole lot easier!
