A Sneak Peek Into The Past | You must have heard about the famous 700+ years old Alai Darwaza in the Qutub Complex? Made by Ala-ud-din Khilji, it belonged to the era of the Delhi Sultanate. The Alai Darwaza is a fine example of the gorgeous Indo-Islamic style of architecture. A cube of red sandstone with a dome and white marble, this beautiful structure is indeed a marvel to behold!

A closer look will show you that the structure is full of intricate details and gorgeous calligraphy. The structure stands proudly in the Qutub Complex, so you peeps need to head on over with a camera slung over your shoulder!
