A three day cultural festival featuring music, film, art, photography and many other outdoor activities, the Ragasthan Festival in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan (no kidding) is all that you’ve ever looked for in a festival *starry eyed*! This is the 3rd edition and it’s going to be pretty darn awesome!

Bringing People Together With ‘Ragas’ | The festival aims at promoting local and international tourism by showcasing the unique culture of Rajasthan. As the name suggests, ‘Ragas’ hold primary importance here, with English and Hindi bands performing live. Eclectic music, culture, tradition, collective participation and shared experiences make for the focal point of this festival that aims at bringing together people from the remotest corners of India to the world out there!

You can even try your hand at pottery, sand art and watch documentaries and world cinema at this fest! There’s a festive flask out there that you’ve got to get your hands on at the festival so you can get a lil’ tipsy from a whole lotta whiskey!

A 360 degree scenic view of the horizon spread out over the towering dunes of inner Thar, Ragasthan stretches a little over a square kilometer and if rolling down 150 feet high dunes isn’t enough, there’s loads more to enthrall even the most subdued introverts out there. So go ahead and book your tickets because this festival is gonna be AWESOME!!
