Splash Of Colours In Noida! | If you’ll be passing by the newly opened National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) underpass anytime soon, check these vibrant wall paintings out that you’ll find on either side of the road. The NTPC underpass, which was thrown open to the public on the 10th of October, will really impress you with the cheerful splash of colours on it!

The wall paintings are part of a beautification drive, wherein the Noida Authority has joined hands with the famous Kiran Nadar Museum Of Art. The underpass is located on the crossing of Sectors 25A, 24, 33-A & 22 and the area is popularly known as the NTPC Chowk.

So, look out for beautiful paintings that depict the Banyan Tree, mythical creatures, elephants, women with earthen pots on their heads and more. The idea is to spread the message of conservation of our rich culture and tradition through these murals. You’ll also find a few culturally significant scenes depicted here like the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi and more. A traditional cloth-based form of painting called Patachitra has been used to beautify the walls.

Thanks to bright and cheerful colours, these murals will be visible from Noida Bypass Flyover. They’re weather-proof and can stay intact for upto ten years. Wow!
