These Metro Stations Will Have Permanent Bicycle Stands To Encourage Eco-Friendly Travel

Delhi Metro has been a blessing upon all of us since its inception and the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation keeps coming up with a variety of new ways to make our commute a lot easier. This time, their new initiative is gonna be super eco-friendly, so keep reading to know all about it!

DMRC’s Move To Promote Eco-Friendly Travel | A lot of us face last-mile connectivity issues when we travel by metro and in order to address this, DMRC has introduced permanent bicycle stands which will give commuters an eco-friendly and sustainable way of covering these distances. This service will be available at the Seelampur, Shahdara, Welcome, Rithala, Saket, Arjangarh, Chattarpur, Dwarka Mor, Dwarka, Dwarka Sector 21, Mundka, Nangloi, Peeragarhi, Tughlakabad, Badarpur, Sarita Vihar and Okhla Bird Sanctuary stations, so go dust out that bicycle you’ve been neglecting! 

DMRC plans to extend this service to more stations in the future and we can’t wait for this plan to be fully functional. Every bicycle stand will have the capacity of parking multiple bicycles with locks so you won’t have to worry about the safety factor.
