These Metro Stations Will Get Safety Features Like High-Rise View Cutters & Noise Barrier Walls

The Delhi Metro has been a boon to us in more ways than one and we’re super appreciative of the fact that the DMRC keeps coming up with new and improved initiatives to make our journey more convenient and comfortable. So keeping that in mind, we’ve come across some news that made us super happy!

Enhanced Safety Features For Metro Users | The Shankar Vihar and Sadar Bazaar Cantonment metro stations on the Magenta Line which are part of Phase III of Delhi Metro will have installations of a high-rise view cutter and noise barrier wall to block noise pollution at the elevated corridors. The aim of the view cutters is to make the adjacent army cantonment less visible, owing to safety concerns.

Adding to that, the metro stations of the Delhi Metro Phase I including both Red Line and Yellow Line corridors will see installations of new passenger information display boards because many of the existing ones have stopped working as they were quite old.
