
These Autos Have Been Converted Into Ambulances With Oxygen Support In Delhi
As the cases in the city continue to rise, the need for medical services like those of an ambulance also have risen exponentially. But with limited resources at disposal, one has to come up with innovative ways to help the sick. And so, it was keeping in line with this thought that auto-ambulances were launched in the city!
Auto-Ambulances The New Way? | On Wednesday, the 6th of May, AAP Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Singh in association with TYCIA Foundation launched auto ambulances in the city. COVID patients with mild symptoms who require oxygen support can contact these auto-ambulances to reach hospitals. This ambulance service can be availed by patients with oxygen levels between 85 to 90 to reach hospitals, as these autos come fitted with oxygen cylinders and sanitisers.
There are currently 10 such auto-ambulances in the city which are manned by drivers in PPE kits, and very soon 20 more will be introduced to the fleet. You can contact them on the numbers given below.
