This Is A Representative Image
Hola Delhiites! We know how much you guys love to get that happy high. But it’s also a known fact that buying your fave bottle of booze can be a pretty expensive affair. And so, we thought of letting you know about this recent development that might change this!
Party All Night? | Delhi peeps, we just heard that the rates for some of the popular foreign liquor brands have been slashed with effect from Monday, the 21st of October. But the prices for the same will remain unchanged in Uttar Pradesh. The rates have been revised for brands like Absolut Vodka for Rs 1,400, Chivas Regal 12 Years Old for Rs 2,800 while this will be available for Rs 3,800 in UP, Ballentine’s Fine for Rs 1,350 in Delhi but for Rs 2,000 in UP, Black Label for Rs 2,500 while for Rs 3,800 in UP and Johnny Walker Red Label for Rs 1,350 instead of Rs 2,300 in UP.
With a stark difference in the prices of alcohol, sales between Delhi and UP including areas like Ghaziabad and Noida will probably be affected, with a rise in smuggling of alcohol in the neighbouring states. The reason why prices remain unchanged in UP is that these were decided at the beginning of the financial year and will hence remain the same throughout the year.
So, let your fellow booze buddies know about this development and plan that party right away!
