There's A New Rule Guys! DMRC to Put A Time Cap On Remaining Inside Metro Stations

In an attempt to de-clog the overcrowded platforms, DMRC has come up with a new rule. Now, commuters paying a fare of up to Rs 18 will not be permitted to remain inside the Metro network for more than 65 minutes.

As reported by the Indian Express, initially, those violating the time limit will be let off with a simple warning, but a penalty of Rs 10 per extra hour and a maximum of Rs 50 would be levied from the 1st of Feb!

We’re hoping this bold move will make way for simpler and easier commuting! Good going DMRC!
