There Might Be An Auto Rickshaw Fare Hike In The City Soon, Guys!

Hey, guys. There’s something that we need to tell you folks and it’s not good news! So read on as we tell you what’s happening in the city!

Auto Rickshaw Fares MAY Rise | If you peeps travel by auto rickshaw to work or for daily commutation in the city, then read ahead as we have some not-so-good news to impart. According to transport authorities, auto rickshaw drivers are now demanding Rs 25 for the first km and Rs 10 for every subsequent km. Currently, autos are charging Rs 25 for the first two kms and Rs 8 for each subsequent km.

Reportedly, there has been a 300 - 400% increase in fuel prices, spare parts and drivers’ wages in the past ten years and hence, the decision to increase fares is being considered. The last major increase in auto fares happened way back in 2013.
