There Might Be A New Academic Calendar For DU And Here's How It Will Affect The New Session

The current scenario has been keeping everyone indoors for a while now and this has affected the lives of a lot of people including college students. And keeping in mind about the lost time, DU has released a tentative calendar that may be adopted.

A New Academic Calendar In Sight? | According to the new calendar the new session for the old students will begin from 1st August and the same for new students will begin on 1st September. The admissions for 2020-21 will be conducted between 1st - 31st August. It’s however also been recommended that universities adopt a simplified mode of examination.

Plus, it has been asked of the faculty to train in e-teaching so that 25% of the syllabus can be completed online. And faculty members should also prepare e-content/e-lab experiments and upload on their websites for the students of Science. This academic calendar is suggestive and the adaption of the same will depend upon the preparedness of the universities.
