There May Soon Be A High Speed Rail Link B/W Del-Rajasthan Passing Via GGN!
Delhizens, here’s some really good news for y’all! The much talked about high speed rail connecting Delhi and Rajasthan has now got the Haryana Government’s approval and we can’t keep calm anymore! Travelling is about to become seamless now, peeps.
Here’re All The Deets | This much-awaited high speed rail will pass through Gurgaon in Haryana. The rail network is under the RRTS project and will connect Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi to the Haryana-Rajasthan border near Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror. And all thanks to this network, travelling between Rajasthan and Delhi will become easy peasy!
The first phase of the project will cost approximately Rs 25,000 crores (woah!) and the average speed of the trains on this line will be 100 kms per hour. The work on the project is likely to start by March 2019. This new route will run on the old Delhi-Gurgaon road and will meet the highway at Signature Tower Chowk. It will then go underground and appear above-ground at IMT Manesar.
Sounds like a great initiative to us!
