The Restaurants At Hauz Khas Village May Get Temporary Relief From The Delhi High Court

The high court just gave the restaurants and cafes in HKV a breather, after clarifying that the observations made in the previous order were temporary and not final! So there is still a chance that these restaurants will not be shutting down! *phew*

Recently only HKV was stated to be a ‘ticking time bomb’ and The Delhi Pollution Control Committee ordered these 21 pubs to shut down because none of them followed the requisite waste norms and some of them didn’t even have a license! But now there’s slight relief for these guys because it’s noted that the restaurants in HKV have been running well enough for the the last three decades, without any untoward incident occurring! 

Plus employees have been working in the restaurants here for the past couple of years and they will simply end up losing their sole means of income! 

Thus keeping a bunch of factors in mind, the Delhi Govt. will soon be giving out the decision that they take for the future of HKV!
