The New Foot Overbridge Connecting The Pink Line & Airport Express Line Is Now Open!

As if we needed any more reasons to love Delhi Metro, they have just given us one more - read on to find out what new development they’ve got up their sleeves this time around!

A Foot Overbridge With 22 Travelators | DMRC has recently launched a brand new foot overbridge that’ll connect Delhi Metro's Dhaula Kuan and South Campus metro stations. This bridge has a record 22 travelators that’ll make it SO much easier for you to travel! Also, this will be a crucial connecting link for all those who travel between the Pink and Airport Express Lines, especially while travelling to Terminal 3 of IGI Airport. This bridge has been semi covered with a curved roof so you can view the skyline through your commute and in case you get tired, there are even benches for you to take a break and rest at!

Up until now, the Airport Line was only connected with the Blue Line at Dwarka Sector 21, but now travellers from all over the city can use this foot overbridge via the Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus Metro Station to take the Airport Express Line and reach IGI Airport. Now that’s great news and we couldn’t be more excited to travel through this masterpiece of engineering.
