Well, after almost 2 years of online classes, Delhi University has finally decided to reopen and resume offline classes. Read on for more information!

The Good Ol’ DU Days Are Back | Delhi University has decided to resume its offline classes for all the undergraduate and postgraduate courses from 17 February 2022 onwards. The varsity has asked the students enrolled in the University Of Delhi belonging to various corners of the country who had been residing in their hometowns since the beginning of the online teaching process, to reach Delhi before the commencement of the offline classes, so that they can complete the isolation period of 3 days before reporting to their respective colleges.

The libraries and canteens of all the colleges under Delhi University will be functioning from 17 February 2022 onwards adhering to all the COVID-19 guidelines issued by DDMA, MHA, MOHFW and UGC. The varsity has also urged the Deans, Directors, HODs and Principals to encourage their teaching as well as non-teaching staff and students to get vaccinated if they haven’t already. Also, COVID-19 appropriate behaviour has to be strictly followed in all the colleges which includes wearing a mask at all times, maintaining social distancing, hand washing and use of sanitisers.

As per a report in the PTI, DU officials have informed that the application process for the purpose of admissions in the hostels will take some time and can be delayed. The hostels have been shut for almost 2 years which is why the cleaning process is taking longer. The reports also suggest that the colleges are planning to accommodate students after thoroughly examining the size of rooms and other factors.

So guys, how excited are you to be finally heading back to the college campuses?
