Hola, Delhizens! We’ve got some amazing news for y’all! Delhi’s second airport is now open for civilian flights and we couldn’t be more excited. Read on to know more about it!
2nd Delhi Airport Is Open | In order to reduce the load at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, PM Modi launched civilian flight operations from Hindon Airbase on 5th March. The Indian Air Force has permitted the use of the airbase for civilian flights under the regional air connectivity scheme UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik). UDAN seeks to connect unserved and underserved airports, as well as, make flying more affordable. We’re totally applauding this move and are super excited for our next flight!
