As y’all know, liquor shops in the city were allowed to open on the 4th of May and since then there has been a ‘Special Corona Fee’ that has been levied on the sale of booze. And now this is about to change, Delhizens.
Back To Normal? | The Delhi Government is going to withdraw the ‘Special Corona Fee’ levied at the rate of 70% on the sale of liquor bottles from 10th of June, Wednesday onwards. The decision was taken to boost the revenue of the state government and this, in turn, resulted in a jump in the price of alcohol. Though the fee was not levied on the first day, the sale for the liquor bottles accounted for Rs 5 crores.
