The Delhi Govt. Plans To Track The Movement Of People Under Home-Quarantine With A Selfie!

We all know that there’s an ongoing pandemic and everyone is at home observing self-isolation by doing their bit to break the chain. And so, to ensure that the people who have been asked to home-quarantine by the authorities, this is what the Delhi Government will do. 

Tracking Tales! | The Delhi Government still has doubts about the movement of people who have been asked to home-quarantine themselves. To assure that there is no room for errors and the guidelines are strictly followed, the government will use an app to track the movement of such people. Yep, the District Magistrates have been directed to guide the citizens who are under home quarantine to download this app on their mobile phones which will help in identifying their movements. This comes after people were not following the guidelines and were still roaming outside.

So, if they have doubts about a person’s movement, they will be asked to send a selfie to the authorities via the app. This will be used in areas that have been declared containment zones and the trial runs have already begun.
