Fully Digitised Maps | The DDA plans to digitise all Delhi maps including zonal plans, details of small plots of land and layout plans - everything will soon be accessible from an online portal, which was definitely much needed. They also plan to add information on the location of drains throughout the city and initially, about 20 digitised maps of different areas will be made available.

If you’re wondering how this will be beneficial for us, here goes - these maps will be helpful for all those who wish to know about a property in a matter of seconds! Basically, it will make the availability status of any property visible, including multi-storeyed ones. The Geographic Information System (GIS) will be integrated with the existing Bhoomi and Awaas systems and the maps will include land spread over an area of 400 sq. kilometres, zonal plans and 900 layout plans.   

This one’s a sorely needed move and we hope it materializes quickly!
