The Chilly Weather Made A Comback To The City On Friday & Here's What You Need To Know

This has probably been one of the coldest seasons that Delhiites have witnessed in decades and there had actually been a little respite from the biting cold that engulfed the city in its clutches. But this may not last long and here’s what you need to know. 

Back To Shivering? | Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand received heavy snowfall and as a result of this saadi Dilli woke up shivering on Friday, the 10th of January. The respite from the chilly weather was brief as the mercury dropped to 5.3 degrees Celsius in Safdarjung while the same was at 5.4 degrees at Palam. But if you think that’s it, you couldn’t be more wrong. The temperatures are expected to dip further during the weekend as a result of the icy winds blowing from the hills. 

According to the Met department, the maximum and the minimum temperatures might just see a further dip by 2 to 3 degrees over the weekend. Guess, we better keep our warm clothes ready!
