Pushkar, a small town located in Rajasthan, is surrounded with hills on three sides and sand dunes on the other. It plays host to the annual camel fair, which is one of the biggest events in the history of travel experiences. They’re back for yet another edition, taking place in November!

This mela is held every year in the month of November during the time of the full moon. It attracts about 50,000 camels, horses and cattle, 8,00,000 (woah) tourists and 60,000 expats from across the world to the otherwise deserted village of Pushkar. This fair is all about decked up animals walking around in the sand dunes, with their owners sitting on their backs.

This event also houses a huge number of musicians, dancers, acrobats, snake charmers and carousel riders who come over to entertain and delight!

The Pushkar Mela is the perfect opportunity to witness the diverse culture of Rajasthan! Book your tickets for Pushkar right now and whatever you do, do not miss out on this fair!
