The Aqua & Blue Lines Might Be Connected Via The Sector 51 Metro Station By March

Remember when we told you that the Blue Line and newbie Aqua Line MIGHT be linked soon? Well, the good news is that this has been confirmed and we might soon enjoy seamless connectivity between Blue Line and Aqua Line - keep scrolling for more!

Here’s What’s Happening | In a bid to increase ridership on the newly opened Aqua Line, NMRC peeps have said that they’ll link the Aqua Line with Blue Line by March, in all probability. The Aqua Line plies between Sector 51 till the Bus Depot in Greater Noida, and it’s going to be connected at the Sector 51 Metro Station with the Blue Line.

The best part is that passengers will have to walk only 100 metres to change from Aqua Line to the Blue Line or vice versa. NMRC will also ensure last mile connectivity for us travellers by launching feeder buses, e-rickshaws, e-cycles and e-bikes at the metro station. There will also be pathways and cycling racks for pedestrians at the Aqua Line metro stations. Foot over-bridges to societies and plazas are also on the cards. So cool!
