The 6th Jashn-e-Adab Urdu Poetry Fest Is Back In Town Giving Us Poetry & Mushaira Feels

Jashn-e-Adab, one of the biggest Urdu poetry festivals is back and as always, it’s going to be everything that a poetry and mushaira fan loves and is looking for! Taking place at the end of the month, from 27th - 29th October, this festival is one that a literature enthusiast should really not miss out on. 

This being their 6th edition, this event has some of the biggest and most renowned shayars and ghazal singers taking part in it. The 3 days event will be kicked off by some great sonnets by Piyush Mishra, followed by ghazal and sufi singing, a kavi sammelan, mushaira, talks about art & commerce in cinema, shayari and cinema and a whole lot of qawwali sessions! There’s a lot going on here for all those who have a soft corner and liking for beautiful Urdu poetry.

P.S. - Even though entry is free, you’ve got to register online, so get cracking! 

P.P.S. - These guys are expecting a little session with the King of Bollywood cinema, Shah Rukh Khan!  *Fingers crossed*
