It’s the season for food festivals again and we’d like to be the first ones to remind you of the best ones comin’ up! Food is THE way to anyone’s heart, and what’s better than to have it accompanied by good music, awesome company and a full on festival feel? Nothing at all! Thus with the approaching fall/winter season, it’s time to get your belly all set for some good grubbin! 

Here’s a list of the best upcoming food festivals that you really need to bookmark on your calendars!

1. Asian Hawkers Market (13th - 15th Oct) 

As always, they'll be showcasing the best of Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Southeast Asian cuisine that you REALLY wouldn’t want to miss out on. From dimsums, tempura and yakitori to pork buns, sushi rolls, stir fries and many more yummy dishes - there will be something for y'all! 

The festival always comes accompanied by some great acoustic music which adds that festive feel! Get your appetite cracking, and head on over to gorge on some dimsums and sushi!

2. Pepsi Presents Horn Ok Please (4th & 5th Nov)

Pepsi Presents Horn Ok Please was the awesome food festival that debuted in March with it’s first spectacular edition and now they’re all set for a second bonanza! Offering Delhi the goodness of food trucks that it sorely lacks, this festival is all about delicious food, chilled beer, soulful live music and some great company. Last year saw the biggest and baddest food trucks from NCR and GGN taking part, catering to a bunch of cuisines - bookmark and cart your hungry bellies over!

3. The Grub Fest (27th - 29th Oct)

Among the first ones to introduce the food festival scenario to the city, The Grub Fest is back with a bang for an even bigger and better edition now! Feasters, it's happening in October at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, and they’ve got some of the biggest and best foodie brands on board for the same (as usual). The past years have even seen some huge artists performing like Nucleya, Prateek Kuhad and Akhil Sachdeva! *Super psyched*

4. Palate Fest (17th - 19th Nov)

Palate Fest was the first ever music & food festival in Delhi, and seeing the fabulous response, they’ve covered 5 awesome editions till now! This year, they’ve come back with a bang with a lot of fun workshops, restaurants and band performances bagged for you. 

Cafes, delis, bars, home bakers and fancy fine-dining restaurants - this event’s got it all packed together! We can’t wait for the participants list to be released!

5. Gourmet High Street (5th - 7th Oct)

It’s time to get your ‘Joey’s Belly’ ready for this three-day long celebration of global cuisine! Come and relish the food of the world, without stepping out of your city. It’s the biggest hub to sample and buy the most luscious selection of food, wine and various other spirits. This event is a common ground for all the connoisseurs and world-renowned celebrity chefs to come together and share their knowledge with fellow food and wine enthusiasts. 6. The Chocotella Fest ( 7th & 8th October)

If you’re a true blue Nutella fan, then The Chocotella fest is just for you! Time to embrace the goodness of this delicious chocolaty hazelnut spread at a festival that’s entirely dedicated to the Nutella gods!

They’ve got everything from gooey and crunchy Nutella waffles to super soft doughnuts, cakes, shakes, truffles and ice creams! YUMMY! Not only this, there will be a bunch of new innovations as well like Nutella Ravioli, Nutella and Marshmallow Sandwiches to Nutella Pizza among others!

7. The Lil’ Flea (22nd - 24th Sept)

While we’re at it, there’s this crazy amazing food cum music and fashion festival that’s debuting in the capital all the way from Mumbai! YAS! Known and loved by most Mumbaikars for being the most chic and hip flea market/fest in town, Delhi is all set to welcome The Lil Flea with arms wide open! They bring together the best of budding food and clothing brands and upcoming artists from around town, so people can discover and celebrate creativity. 

From stationery to apparel and home decor to local cafes and entertaining live acts by artists, they’ll host all of it under the same roof, with dreamy vibes and crazy decorations! Though not your quintessential food festival, this one surely is a flea market you really HAVE to go check out!

8. Eat Love Party Food Festival (3rd - 5th November)

There’s another one on the list guys, and this food festival comes with a concept where you’ll get to eat whatever you want, party for however long you want and all this with the people you love! Hence earning the name Eat Love Party! Some foodie joints you’ll see there are The Lanterns, The Flying Saucer, Local, Unplugged Courtyard, Cafe Wiser Miser, The Junkyard Cafe, Tourist and Bom-Bay Bar among many others!

9. Jashn-e-Rekhta ( 8th - 10th Dec )

One of the biggest Urdu festivals, Jashn-e-Rekhta is back with its 4th edition, and all those of you who love poetry and shayari, do check out this event. And while you’re there, don’t forget to check out their gluttonous food festival either! Last year saw some delicious delicacies from Old Delhi like masaledar mutton, biryani and lots more. So go ahead and do check this festival out and enjoy a portion of raan with some shayari on the side!

10. Dessertarian Fest (15th - 17th Dec) 

For all you incorrigible sweet-tooths, this happy-nappy event is for you and only you! With the right kind of goodies to satiate your taste buds, The Dessertarian Fest shall bring to you some finger licking treats and desserts like never before.

Allowing people to explore a wide range of unique desserts, the extravaganza shall welcome Delhi & NCR’s very best restaurants and bakeries, upcoming home-bakers and various other assorted vendors - et al, under one roof! *What, wow*

11. Delhi Food Carnival (1st & 2nd October) 

Debuting for the first time, Delhi Food Carnival is here with some super unique stalls for you to look out for! With a concept that’s based on ‘When Old Meets New’, these guys are bringing to South Delhi the gluttony goodness of Old Delhi! Being held at India Islamic Centre, the best bit about this festival is definitely the food, plus the combo of delicious food with live sufi performances! YAS!
