Taj Mahal Will Be Closed Till The 31st Of March, So Cancel All Your Travel Plans & Stay In!

Hola, Delhizens! Seems like the government is doing its best to contain COVID-19, from shutting down educational institutions to closing the spas, nightclubs and gyms, they’re going the much-needed extra mile. And now, as a part of preventive measure, the iconic Taj Mahal will be closed till the 31st Of March as well!

The World Has Come To A Halt | As per the Tourism Ministry, Taj Mahal will be closed to the visitors to fight the pandemic. The Taj Mahal, that’s also dubbed as the “jewel of Muslim art” by UNICEF, attracts about 8 million visitors each year, and since social distancing is recommended to avoid the spread of the virus, the shutting down of Taj Mahal is a great initiative that’ll help combat this situation!

Apart from these, schools, colleges, nightclubs, gyms, spas and cinema theatres will remain locked down till the 31st of March.
