Taj Mahal, Red Fort & Other Monuments To Get A Complete Facelift With WiFi, Cafes & More!
World Heritage Sites like the Taj Mahal, Red Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, Humayun’s Tomb and Ajanta Ellora Caves are all set to get an all-round facelift! This facelift will include the introduction of WiFi services, a fully stocked cafeteria, Braille signage, state-of-art toilets, drinking water and other world class facilities! FINALLY!!
The centre has also taken to adopt 116 ticketed monuments from the Archaeological Survey of India and talks are currently going on regarding a guide policy and a whole bunch of other things to make the experience lots better!
WiFi facility has been introduced at 10 World Heritage Sites already and at major tourist attractions such as the Varanasi Ghats, Har Ki Paudi, the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Pushkar Ghat Mandir, Jagannath Temple Puri and Katra Jammu.
Sounds good to us! With everyone literally glued to their phones all the time, now it’s time to ‘check-in’ to WiFi at monuments too! AWESOME!
