Majnu Ka Tilla is an area in the middle of Delhi that’s inhabited primarily by the Tibetan community. When you wander through the narrow streets here, you'll be dazzled by the vibrant and beautiful handicrafts, junk jewellery and most importantly the fragrance of the authentic Tibetan and Chinese food. There are a whole lot of cafes and restaurants which serve as proper diners but at the same time, there are some street food options that you all must try!

Oreo Shake @ An Unnamed Shop

Oreo shake is a new hot favourite of the people of all ages for everyone relishes it equally be it kids or adults. Drizzled with chocolate sauce and topped with some crushed Oreos, this drink that we had at this market was crunchy, thick and creamy. Along with the vanilla ice cream, we enjoyed the Oreo bits in every sip that we took. In addition to the shakes, they also had fresh fruit juices and some varieties of sandwiches as well. Again, like a lot of other shops in this market, this one didn't have a name either but you'll find it right near the entrance.

It was a spicy mung bean and cold noodle dish. The taste is very quirky and flavourful and rather different. A soft and chewy roll made of mung bean flour, then coated with some homemade chilli sauce, spices and stuffed with soya. You’ll like this piquant snack only if you have an appreciation for the authentic Tibetan cuisine. You'll find laphing rolls being sold on almost every nook and corner of the market. Everyone here prepares it in pretty much the same way and they all look totally enticing and taste absolutely amazing!
