Soon-To-Open 6 Lane Flyover From Shreshtha Vihar To Vivek Vihar To Hopefully Decongest East Delhi
East Delhi dwellers, we come bearing good news! So without further ado, continue reading and you’ll find out what to be happy about this time! Don’t forget to thank our Delhi Government’s Public Works Department!
What’s The Down Low? | In a bid to decongest parts of North and East Delhi, our Lieutenant Governor recently gave his nod to a six-lane flyover and other road improvement projects! This flyover will be constructed between the Ghazipur intersection on National Highway 24 and Apsara border on GT Road and will regulate traffic on this route. That’s great news!
So this 2.2 kms long flyover will take flight from the Shreshtha Vihar road-over-bridge and will end at the Vivek Vihar intersection. And this flyover, swooping in like a guardian angel, will decongest traffic on this stretch, especially for the adjoining areas like Sundar Nagar, Ramprastha Colony and Anand Vihar, making lives a lot easier for us peeps! Ramps will also be constructed, linking this flyover to the Shrestha and Ramprastha intersections.
Two road improvement plans are also on the cards near Rani Jhansi flyover, where there is usually massive traffic congestion. The plan essentially is to decongest the stretch from Kashmere Gate junction to Rani Jhansi flyover.
Awesome move, Delhi Government!
