Delhi Metro’s longest line from Mukundpur to Shiv Vihar which was supposed to be launched in December 2016 has been pushed ahead to April 2018! Aw snap!

This line, known as Line 7, is expected to decongest the metro stations by making them closer to each other and giving commuters the option to interchange their metro at 10 brand new stations in between now! *nice*.

This would take the load off from existing interchange stations, especially the most crowded centrally located Rajiv Chowk!

The construction work is pending between a couple of piers due to land acquisition issues, thus as soon as the land is acquired, work shall start on this project!

Anything that would reduce the chaos at Rajiv Chowk is good, so we just can’t wait for this new line to to be formed already. Stay tuned for updates!
