If you’re someone who enjoys heritage walks then this event has been especially crafted for you. Hello, Delhiites, this annual fest taking place in Mehrauli over the weekend promises to be a beautiful as well as an insightful event that you must totally check out!

A Walk To Remember | Organised in Mehrauli every year, Phoolwalon Ki Sair translates to ‘the festival of flower sellers’ and comprises week-long festivities that happen at the Qutub Sahib’s Dargah and Yogmaya Temple featuring activities such as kite flying, qawwali performances and wrestling matches - nice. You can expect to hear the stories behind the walk, the wonders of the dargah, the tale of the Pandavas and about the political turmoil in the Mughal Dynasty here! 

The walk will take you through the Mehrauli Village where there’s a step-well, a tank where Prophet Muhammad left a mark, khanqah of eunuchs, the pleasure palace of the Mughals and the still empty grave which was was meant for the last Mughal emperor. This 3-hour walk will cover a distance of 2.5 kms and the meeting point for this is at the Yogmaya Temple!
