Shillong's Magical Cherry Blossom Fest Will Have A Rock Concert, Storytelling Sessions & More

The Cherry Blossom Festival is back with a bang for its 2nd edition and this time, it’s being held in Shillong from the 8th - 11th November! Nice! 

You no longer have to head on over to Japan or the US to feast your eyes on gorgeous Cherry Blossoms as you’ll get to witness the grandeur this November in Meghalaya’s Khasi Hills! In order to celebrate the flowering of these blossoms, this festival is being held in Shillong and it’s going to be one-of-a-kind. 

There’ll be a bunch of events being held here like guided night walks, live music gigs, a beauty pageant, and stalls showcasing the cuisine, wine, arts and craft of Shillong! 

A rock concert, traditional folk music, unplugged Western music and dance performances from all over North East India, choir performances, bicycle rallies, storytelling sessions of local and international folktales, and a Japanese Higher Education Fair, all this and a lot more is going to be happening here, folks. Visitors can even bring their golf set along to participate in the Golf Cup being held here. Plus, all these events are free and open to all!
