Serving Up Mumbai Style Street Sandwiches To Dilliwallahs, Here's Sandwedges In Indirapuram

We are ever so grateful to the two MBA students who thought of experimenting with our fav almost-everyday-quick-food – Sandwiches! And not just that, they happen to include all kinds of comfort food that we like – Sandwiches, Burgers & Shakes etc. 

And so we made our way to a place called Sandwedges which has 3 outlets in town - at Indirapuram, Sector 72 in Noida & Raj Nagar In Ghaziabad. We went to the first outlet situated right on the main road. 

The cafe has a limited seating of 16 people with a few extra chairs kept outside so it's best to do a takeaway. Here's what we tried here:

Nutella Shake

As far as the Nutella Shake is concerned, it was a small cup with a spoon of nutella mixed with chocolate sauce and not quite what we expected our Nutella shake to be all about. Vigorously shaken with no hint of ice cream and hardly any traces of nutella, this was a let down.

Mumbai Masala Sandwich

To start with Mumbai Masala sandwich had a medley of veggies including green and red capsicum, onions & fresh corn etc. done in a double-decker style, with loads of mayo and cheese, grilled to perfection. It has a bit of chutney made out of green chillies and fresh coriander too that added the extra zing to it making it a super delicious choice.

Pesto Exotica Sandwich

Perfectly baked and oozing out with generous portions of melting cheese, spread over green and red caspsicum, corn & onions, this was sprinkled with coriander on top and tossed with a zesty pesto sauce, over two big soft buns - that describes this dish best and we could easily gobble up seconds!

Atrangi Vada Pav

Our taste buds were totally in a Mumbaikar state of mind and so we ordered this Vada Pav! Served hot in a plate, two small soft buns were smothered in a green chutney and gunpowder. The buns contained an equal size of a fried potato patty. Overall a good choice.
