Say Hello To The All New MUM-DEL Rajdhani Express With A Rad Makeover

Indian Railways is on a roll guys, they just rolled out a refurbished Mumbai - Delhi Rajdhani train and it looks fab! 

The Western Railway’s premier Rajdhani Express got this all new look under the ministry’s Operation Swarn, a project to improve the aesthetics & comfort level of the passenger train. This has happened a couple of weeks after the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express got Anubhuti coaches with aircraft like interiors. Nice! 

All That’s New & Gold | These new coaches adorn anti-graffiti coated designer vinyl wrap in the passage, entrances, toilets & ceilings. The seating has been given an all new change too and that’s further added to the pleasing ambience and a better travel experience altogether. They also have LED lights in the coaches and washrooms for better ambience & illumination, plus to further reduce the energy consumption as well.

You’ll even find some paintings and photographs depicting the monuments and cultural heritage of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Delhi in the coaches here. *Nice*! The bathrooms too have a more hygienic approach and have basics like toilet paper dispensers, hygienic automatic personal seat dispensers and auto janitors to control odour. 

All this sounds cool to us and we can’t wait to hop on!
