Our city continues to be effectively grasped in the iron tight grip of numbing cold and the region might just record the second-coldest December since 1901. Shocked? Here’s what you need to know about it.

Shivering City | So, the mean maximum temperature was less than 20 degrees Celsius in the years of 1919, 1929, 1961 and 1997 but on Thursday, the 26th od Of December, the MMT was at 19.85 degrees. And it’s expected that the temperatures might take a further plunge to 19.15 degrees Celsius. And if this happens, this will be the second-coldest December since 1901.

The last lowest recorded MMT rests at 17.3 degrees Celsius in the year 1997. The cold-spell continues to shackle the city while Delhiites continue to struggle to go about their day.

Let’s hope the weather takes a turn for the better and the sun shines on us soon enough!
