India Gate is a majestic structure built in honour of the soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. But that’s not the only appeal of this monument as there’s a boating point over here which is famously called India Gate Boating Point. And if there’s one thing that a true Delhiite will never fall shy away from, it’s probably to agree to go out boating! So we’re going to tell you why you need to visit the little pond in front of the India Gate where you can go boating with your friends and family!

Rowing Memories

Can you imagine the setting sun and the faint chattering of people surrounding you while you row in the still pond laughing to the numerous memories with your bae or your pals, all the while creating a new one? We can totally see ourself indulging in this leisurely activity. India Gate boating point has always been a site of attraction for people looking to experience something different in this otherwise busy city life.

The boating point is something that you need to check out at least once. While you’re busy enjoying your boat ride, you’ll notice children playing around in excitement, lush green trees with ferns hanging so low that you could almost touch them, the look of complete awe on the face of bystanders and the faint honking of vehicles passing by. In the first look, all that you will find is complete chaos, but when you sit and absorb everything around you, you will find a story unravelling itself with every passing minute!

When To Stop-by

For someone who is into photography or maybe just wants to experience the boat ride then this is something that you must sign-up for. It happens throughout the year but the timings change during summers and winters. The timings for this are 2 - 7 PM which may change during winters as it gets dark earlier!

So, on your next visit to India Gate, make sure you go boating and create new memories!
