Restaurant Spotting | Public Affair in Khan Market - Here's What We Think
Minimalistic, grungy, hip, chic, victorian - these are some of the adjectives that come to mind when we speak of the fairly new, hep restaurant Public Affair located in Khan Market. Spread over two floors, with a quaint alfresco area, this place earns its attention from the get go!
Hits | Their Parmesan Fries are the crispiest we’ve ever had, you can literally hear every bite *no exaggerations*! The Chelo Kebabs were extremely juicy, served with fragrant saffron rice and more fries (we’d have those for every course!), The 78 Hour Marinated Lamb Chops were gobbled up in seconds, the Chicken Slider trumped the slightly undercooked Lamb Slider in the duo of sliders.
Misses | Due to the dim lighting, you will struggle to read the menu here, so keep your torch apps handy! We loved the subtle flavours of our Bellini but found it to be unforgivingly tepid, especially due to the rising temperatures of Delhi. Overall, it’s a tad expensive to dine here but then again we’re talking about Khan Market!
We’ll be heading back soon to try their desserts and other specialties and in favour of public interest, we recommend you to scoot over! Scram!
