RAAG Concert For Peace (1st - 2nd Nov)

Start off on a melodious note with this two-day music festival aimed at promoting peace and harmony in the capital. Bask in the soothing vibes exuded by soulful renditions of Indian classical maestros like Fareed Hasan (vocals), Ajay Prasanna (flute), Ustad Akram Khan (table) and Pandit Rajender Gangani (Kathak). We can’t wait for this classical carnival!

North East Festival (4th-6th Nov)

An intersection of local cuisine, folk music, fashion, traditional sports and crafts presented by the seven sisters of India, the NEF boasts around a 100 stalls (woah!). Apart from a food court serving Naga, Manipuri, Assamese and other delicacies and famous rock musicians of the region providing high quality entertainment, there will be handloom, handicraft, horticulture and photography exhibitions, mask parades and national level seminars. Considered one of the most important and influential animators in the history of the medium, a six-film retrospective by Lightcube will cover Isao Takahata’s major achievements, some of his unknown films and finally, the film that influenced him to become an animator. This edition will showcase The Tale of Princess Kaguya (2013).

The Chennai electro-rockers are making a pit stop in the city on their way to Weekender Mysore and we couldn’t be happier!
