Delhizens, it’s time to stop vegetating in your blankets; we’ve curated a list of the most spectacular events worth your while this month that will snap you right out of that hibernation mode! With something rad happening (literally) every other day, here’s what made it to our November checklist:

RAAG Concert For Peace (1st - 2nd Nov)

Start off on a melodious note with this two-day music festival aimed at promoting peace and harmony in the capital. Bask in the soothing vibes exuded by soulful renditions of Indian classical maestros like Fareed Hasan (vocals), Ajay Prasanna (flute), Ustad Akram Khan (table) and Pandit Rajender Gangani (Kathak). We can’t wait for this classical carnival!

North East Festival (4th-6th Nov)

An intersection of local cuisine, folk music, fashion, traditional sports and crafts presented by the seven sisters of India, the NEF boasts around a 100 stalls (woah!). Apart from a food court serving Naga, Manipuri, Assamese and other delicacies and famous rock musicians of the region providing high quality entertainment, there will be handloom, handicraft, horticulture and photography exhibitions, mask parades and national level seminars. Head on over for eclectic insights into NE’s effervescent culture!

Return of Halloween Hotel (5th Nov)

After a grand 1000+ turnout last year, the biggest and spookiest Halloween party in Delhi is back with a bang at Tabula Beach. The Tale Of Princess Kaguya Presented by Lightcube Film Society (6th Nov)

This one’s a special treat for all the Studio Ghibli fans out there! Considered one of the most important and influential animators in the history of the medium, a six-film retrospective by Lightcube will cover Isao Takahata’s major achievements, some of his unknown films and finally, the film that influenced him to become an animator. This edition will showcase The Tale of Princess Kaguya (2013).

The F16s- Live Gig (10th Nov)

The Chennai electro-rockers are making a pit stop in the city on their way to Weekender Mysore and we couldn’t be happier! Lyrically driven, the 'sound' of the band rests in an arc that also includes acts like LCD Soundsystem, Julian Casablancas and the Voidz and The Horrors; beat-driven yet innately melodic. Their foot-tapping riffs and amazing bass lines are not to be missed for the world!

Youth Ki Awaaz’s flagship event, Converge 2016 will feature talks, panel discussions and performances centred around 'Conversations for Social Change’, bringing together the nation's young changemakers who are breaking stereotypes, smashing stigmas and paving the way forward. We’re definitely heading over for some major inspiration!

Electric Daisy Carnival (12th-13th Nov)

November will be a historic month for EDM lovers in the country as one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world finally debuts in India! Osho International Tantra Festival (18th- 23rd Nov)

OITF will be especially sensual this year with its theme of ‘The Senses’ which will be explored via music, dance, meditation and sacred rituals. International Tantra teachers such as Sadan Darvish, Mahasatvaa Ma Ananda Sarita, James Stevenson And Lin Holmquist will create a guided experience deeper into Tantra and into yourself. Sounds interesting!

Vangoffey India Tour (30th Nov)

Former Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey’s supergroup Vangoffey has been creating waves ever since its first gig in London; we can’t wait to welcome his trademark funk-fuelled indie pop with open arms! The countdown begins.
