For A Fine Date | The Pan-Asian restaurant Mei Kun at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel had been revamped into a Chinese-specialty fine-dining spot in October 2019, offering a menu that’s been curated by Chinese Master Chef, Chef Hsiung Chan Khyage “CK”, a renowned culinary maestro. Mei Kun translates to ‘beautiful universe’ and the place surely is an ode to it. The restaurant is set amidst lush greens and as you walk in, you’ll be greeted with a beautiful koi fish pond!

The menu has seen a whole array of delectable dishes that are available for lunch and dinner along with ala carte offerings and unlimited set menu. With the growing trend of vegetarianism, Mei Kun also boasts of plenty of veggie-friendly delights along with meaty options. 

Also, Chinese New Year falls on the 25th January this year and Mei Kun brings you not just a new menu but also offers as a special 26% discount on 26th January. The restaurant is beautifully decked up on the Chinese New Year with red lanterns, umbrellas, lamps and candles, basically a dream for all the shutterbugs.  

As per feng shui, koi fish are said to bring in a lot of happiness and prosperity to one’s life and these lovely folks have a beautiful pond of the same right outside. Moreover, the restaurant also has a tradition of making the guests feed the fish. During the Chinese New Year celebrations on 25th, the patrons will also be given sky lanterns to fly after their dinner.
