Quitting His Job to Pursue His Passion - Meet Gurgaon's Ironman, Abhishek Mishra

If you're strong willed and push yourself beyond the limit, you can achieve just about anything - and that’s a great thought to live by! Incase you're wondering why this sudden burst of joie de vivre, it's because of Gurgaon based, Abhishek Mishra, a regular corporate employee who left his job to pursue endurance sports and went on to win the title of Ironman twice!

No less than a superhero act, this triathlon consists of a 3.8 km swimming stretch, followed by 180 kms of cycling and lastly a 42.2 km run which participants have to complete within 17 hours. Doesn't that sound insanely difficult?

What's more intriguing is that our very own Ironman is planning on going in for an Ultraman Triathlon held in Florida where the distances would be double. We hope he makes it big!
