Remember PVR Priya? The huge single-screen theatre that sold tickets for Rs 100 for a 10 AM show, making it the perfect spot to bunk college?! Well, it has now received one helluva facelift and here’s all you gotta know!

Sporting A New Look | On Wednesday, the 26th Of August, the Chief Minister inaugurated the newly revamped PVR Priya (XL). Done away with the blue walls, the outer facade has grey toned walls and boasts of a swanky new look that gleams proudly under the glorious sun. Priya Market, over the years, had lost most of its crowd to AC Malls, but it had still been home to numerous food stalls serving lip-smacking grub.

However, the complex itself has seen a revamp. And though the age-old eateries like McDonald’s and Arabian Nites still draw in a lot of crowds, a bunch of new upscale restaurants have opened up. Miss Pinto, Lair, Kiko-ba and For’est are just some of the new swanky additions to the market.  

It has definitely gone under some much-needed redevelopment, and if you’re someone who’d be found in the market, bunking their class, then it’s time you check out this place and relive those good ol’ memories!
