
Prez Trump's Delhi Visit Will See 10K CCTV Installations & Road Closures From 24th-25th Feb.
US President Donald Trump is all set travel to the city next week and there could be some restrictions on the movement of traffic on Monday and Tuesday, 24th and 25th February. So, make a note and proceed cautiously.
Traffic Update | As part of elaborate security measures, Delhi Police has proposed four-tier security for Trump where the first cordon will be the President’s bodyguards, second by his security unit, third by paramilitary personnel and fourth by the local police. If Donald Trump visits Rajghat on Tuesday morning, then roads between New Delhi and Central Delhi will be blocked. Traffic will be affected around the India Gate and other parts of New Delhi until the evening.
Late evening, the roads around the airport will be closed for his convoy to pass smoothly & safely and the police are also installing 10,000 CCTV cameras along the routes that Trump will take during his two-day stay in Delhi. Also, no vehicles will be allowed along the roads from the airport to his hotel, but once he reaches there, traffic will ply normally.
