If you’ve often been confronted with wildly flaming heaps of trash on street corners, that’s because of the paltry fines generally imposed to the tune of Rs 5000. Not any longer people! *gleeful grins*

Delhi has woken up, and now the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has settled on imposing a penalty for violators ranging from Rs 20,000 - Rs 1,00,000!
