Plans For A Dwarka-Kirti Nagar Metrolite Are On & It'll Cover Densely Populated Areas Of Delhi

Bookmark

Just like the Gurgaon Rapid Metro, a Metrolite project is planned by DMRC between Dwarka Sec 25 & Kirti Nagar, and Rithala & Narela. Just for your info, a Metrolite is a smaller metro with 3 coaches, and it can accommodate up to 300 passengers at the same time. Keep scrolling to get more details on this exciting news!

A Smaller Metro For Our Convenience | This 19.09 km long Metrolite line will be built on the road space, but without adding to the traffic or creating any sort of hindrance. Smooth movement of the train will be ensured by going underground for major crossings or intersections. For a smooth passenger movement, DMRC has planned for subways and elevated corridors, wherever necessary.

A super cost-effective project, the costs of the tickets will almost be 30 - 40% less than the usual metro tickets. With almost 21 stations, 16 at-grade and 5 elevated, to be built on the Dwarka- Kirti Nagar line, it will pass through heavily colonised areas such as Dabri, Mayapuri & Bamnoli.

Sounds like a plan, we hope it gets executed ASAP!
