Take The Road Less Travelled | Imagine sitting by the bonfire, cuddled up with your fave book, in a large manor that’s surrounded by lychee, plum and mango orchards. Sounds really dreamy, doesn’t it? The Judge’s Court in Pragpur is the place we’re taking you through today. Built in the year 1918 by Bhandari Ram for his son, Justice Sir Jai Lal, the country manor is designed in an Indo-European tradition and even has a 12-acre orchard full of fresh fruits!
The manor has 26 double occupancy rooms and 13 suits, all of which are decked in luxe and elegant decor. Some of the names of their rooms are Kipling, Hardinge among others. Located in India’s first heritage Village - Pragpur - the manor is run by Kuthiala Sood family since the very beginning. You can even go for a swim and relax by their pool.
If you wanna explore the village of Pragpur, you can set out on foot and meet the locals and they’ll welcome you with a huge smile! You can go fishing, cycling or on a trek and explore the beautiful and simplistic rural life. You can book a train from Delhi or even take a bus as it’s just a night’s journey away!
