Bookmark

All ya DU peeps, it’s time to go YAY! Traveling from North to South Campus is gonna be a piece of cake as the Pink Line has arrived as our saviour. This new metro line which’ll be rolling out from today has reduced travel time from North to South Campus to around 35 minutes! *OMG*

Here’re More Deets | The Pink Line is all geared up to start operations from today so make sure you get that first ride! This line, linking Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar, has 38 stations, out of which 12 will be opening to the public today. All of these stations have screening doors and are disabled-friendly.

And here’s what new in this metro line - this is the first time that we Dilliwallas will get to use travelators outside of the airport! *Say Whaa?!* Yep, you heard us. The Rajouri Garden interchange station, connecting Dhaula Kuan and South Campus, has 4 travelators, and will open for operations in June.

The coaches will have colour-coded seats with LCD screens displaying the next metro station. New foot over bridges have also been developed to make crossing those crazy busy roads easier for the commuters. AND there’s gonna be fabulous artwork at some of the metro stations that’ll make you go wow!

We love Delhi Metro all the more now!
